This is part of my audio-slideshow series, Neukölln My Kiez. Focussing on my Kiez (neighbourhood), Neukölln, it explores notions of belonging, how places and things that are public and ‘un-ownable’ came to become ‘mine’. The series is inspired by an art exhibition on this very topic in a Karl-Marx Allee gallery in 2009. Frustratingly, I cannot trace the artists. So if you’re out there, please get in touch!
